How Much is your Baon?
Do you still remember how much your parents would give you for baon (school money)? I remember my mom would give me 10pesos because I love eating siopao then. I would buy from the school canteen and drink whatever my mom prepared for me. In high school, I would be given 30pesos, almost the same when I was in college. Prices of food and drinks were not yet high then, so that amount was enough for a meal.
How about you did your parents gave you lunch money or were you given packed lunch instead?

i remember my baon in grade school was around p50-p100, in highschool it was about p150-p200, and when i was in college my baon was like p250-p300 which i would not expend entirely so i always had savings.
haha, those were the days when i didn’t have to spend on anything except my baon. now, being a mom and homemaker, there’s food, groceries, my daughter’s baon, household supplies, and the list goes on.

I used to get $0.10 when primary, $0.50 secondary, college time is unlimited… lolz.
But, today’s price this is worthless. My cousins are getting around $3.00 – $10.00 each day.

Grade school – P5 i ussually bought banana que and juice and there some left are saving..highschool P10 the same i spend only when i feel like i save the rest and college it’s P50-P100 depend with what i need sometimes i just change to my mums tab so she will just shock with the bill lol!
