I have never been one to gamble or bet. Although I see it being done by people older than me, I don’t feel any pull towards throwing away my money on something as risky as gambling. I don’t think I ever will.
That’s why I can’t understand why a mother would risk her kids’ meal money in betting. I have a neighbor who’s very much like that. She would tell others that her husband is not leaving them money to buy food. But then my dad heard that she’s actually betting their meal money instead of using it to feed her three kids!
I was so mad at the mother for doing it. I can understand why she’s doing it. She’s hoping their money will double or triple. But then at whose expense? Her kids will always go hungry if she continue with her ways. Tsk tsk!
