I don’t know what this plant is called but this grows near the vault where the urns of my mom, my brother and my grandma are. It caught my eye when we visited the place on my mom’s 6th death anniversary. It’s so vibrant that I thought I had to take a photo of it and share it here with you all.

I guess it’s the drop of Oriental blood in me that draws me to these things. I love anything with a touch of Oriental in it. I must admit that even in food, I am partial to Oriental cuisine

The school was all done up like there’s a feast!

While the Nursery students danced little disco boys and girls.
The little girl in the house had her very first field demonstration. They did a dance number and because I also came from the same school, we stayed there a bit to get the feel of the festive spirit. I took more photos but I’ll have to share it in some of my next entries

There’s only one restaurant in Manila that we frequent when we were kids and there’s a special occasion to celebrate. Max’s Restaurant. We loved that branch in Tomas Morato. I have so many good memories of our lunches and dinners there, of birthdays celebrated.
