There are so many great deals this holiday season and all you need to do is to look patiently for it. A friend of mine told me about the eddie bauer coupons 2012 that she found. She was able to find a lot of items that she can give to love ones because of those coupons. I will be looking as well later in the day.

Patience is the key during the holiday season. Traffic jams, long queues in shopping centers and malls, packs of individual shoppers everywhere. You will lose your patience if you are not prepared for it. But if you are, there are gems in different areas of the city that you can find.

If there is one person who has the creative juices to come up with a product that will make everyone’s jaws drop, that would be Rein. She really knows her craft! She is an artist through and through and a creative being born to make really beautiful things.

Can you imagine a bookcase made of glass tile? Yes, she did it and when someone saw it, the bookcase was immediately sold! She also has several other crafts that she made and were all sold within 24 hours of it being displayed in her shop.

I was writing and not minding the world a few days ago. I had an epiphany when I stopped for a while and just listened to the music blaring in my ears. I realized that I can think more clearly with my Beats headphone on! I realized that I am more relaxed when music is on. I don’t feel rushed or harassed at all!

Music is my way to unwind after a really busy day. I listen to mellow music before going to sleep. If I can only let the music keep playing all night long, irregardless of electricity and my ears’ well being, I might let it.

Enjoying the sun

Laugh your heart out,
Dance in the rain,
Cherish the moment,
Ignore the pain.

Live. Laugh. Love.

Forgive and forget!

Life’s too short to live with regrets.

Wrong Choices

I believe it. We don’t know that sometimes what we thought is a wrong choice will turn out to be a blessing in disguise that will lead us to a positive result.

We just have to believe ourselves and keep the faith that everything will fall into place sooner or later.

Happy Monday!

A television network shooting outside the city made sure there is a standby medical air evacuation should something happen to the actors and the production team. There were shooting in a rocky area and we all know how accidents could happen at a time and place when and where you least expect it.

They brought along five motorhomes and one RV for the stars of the show. All the rest are camping out in the area or treks to a nearby town where they rented out rooms from the locals.

I read about it in an online blog dedicated to the show. I kept thinking it will be an adventure for me if I am part of the production team. Imagine trekking in the middle of the night to get some sleep!

best remedy

There was a period in my life when I hit rock bottom. There was very few people I could turn to and they were all busy living their own lives. I felt like I was on my own and I was burdening my family with the problems I created. You know how I was able to cope back then? I went to a place where I could hear myself think. A place where I could analyze the things that happened and where I could unburden all the stuff inside my heart and mind.

I went to church almost every day during that period!

I found that being inside the church when it’s almost empty can help a lot if you are feeling burdened and in need of a quiet place. You also feel so near the Creator when inside the church and you can freely talk to Him and tell Him everything that is bothering you. It helped me a lot. It made everything a little bit better every time I was inside the church. After at least an hour or two inside, I felt light. I felt that I was getting near solution of my problems.

And you know what? I did. It took a while but I was able to solve my problems and I was able to get pass that dark period of my life.

If there is one thing I learned to love in the past couple of years that I am blogging, it is creating websites! I learned how to create a website and never looked back. I learned how to code and tweak and studied whatever else related to website creation. You know I do believe that a web site is your virtual address where you can direct your readers. If you have a business, a website is very important because it is the place online where you can direct regular and potential clients to.

I have done a couple of websites for myself and for friends. Nothing too fancy just a place where they can show off their skills and direct potential clients to, while the website I created for myself is where I write my views and opinions on what’s happening around the country.

Creating a website is like giving birth to the sum total of your ideas. It demands my total attention and I willingly submit myself to it. It is like creating a house from scratch. A virtual home, you can say. If you don’t have one yet make sure you set up one as soon as possible. If you have a business and you want to make a mark online, a website is the fastest way to do it. Make sure you have one. It is your virtual address/office, you know.

I am participating in a blog campaign from Bucks2Blog for an online website builder company and was compensated. However, the views and opinions are my own.

If you only had ten more years to live, would you do anything differently?

If I only have ten years to live I will change the way I live my life. I will spend it alternately traveling by myself and spending every minute of the rest being with my family. I will sleep very little and will spend every waking moment doing what I have always wanted to do. Road trips, meeting up with friends, writing nonstop (so I can leave something behind) and putting everything into perspective so that the love ones I will be leaving behind won’t have to be burdened with whatever unfinished business I might have.

That’s what I will do. I will make sure that I will create memories, ones that will make my love ones remember me for as long as they live.

You know I’ve always been a passive person. I always let life pass by. But if I know I only have a couple of years left to live, I’d make sure to go out with a bang!

What about you? What will you do if you know you only have ten more years to live?

For the longest time my sister had her eyes on a food franchise business. She even had possible locations already in mind. What she did was wrote a proposal to me with all the details of the food franchise business she wanted us to open together. Seeing the potential, I immediately agreed to her proposal. But since we only have a one-time shot at it with limited capital, we wanted to make sure we really know the ins and outs of a business so we enrolled in a business school. We took up masters in business administration together where we had so much fun bonding over lessons and meeting potential business associates. Not only did we learn a lot from those MBA classes but also the time we spent together bonded us like no other.

Personally, I think getting an MBA is recommended if you are serious in putting up a business. It is still best to learn the theories in business administration and then using it in creating a successful business like the food franchise business that my sister and I put up. It is doing great and my sister and I are deliberating whether to put up another food franchise business elsewhere in the city. A new one that is currently very “in” at the moment.

At least we both know that the masters in business administration that we took paid off!
